Planning a day trip to Lake Moogerah? You’re more than welcome to enjoy the scenic surrounds, picnic areas and peaceful lake views. To help you make the most of your visit, please take a moment to read through the key information below. Note that day visitor access is separate from the campground – if you’re being asked for a code, you’re in the wrong area.
Boom Gate Operating Hours


Directions & Rules
- Take the second left after entering the park and follow the signs to the Day Visitor area
- Toilets are located next to the picnic area at the main intersection
- No dogs allowed in the park, including day visitors
- The Day Visitor area closes at 6:30pm sharp — the boom gate will be locked and access codes will not work after this time

Here at Lake Moogerah we offer unpowered campsites as well as a limited number of powered caravan sites.
